Over the past few years we've have made massive strides in our video media here at Pleasant View. In 2019 we began livestreaming services here at Pleasant View. The goal was to have the ability to reach our congregation members during times of inclement weather. From there, we worked to make the livestreams a regular part of our weekly services and for special events. This became a blessing in 2020 and during the years of covid, allowing us to easily make sermons, and services available as we were social distancing. The folks behind the scenes have made tremendous strides to improve these livestreams, working to imrove the audio quality, upgrade from a single mevo camera to a professional multi-camera setup, and audio mixing for livestreams have also been the focus of enhancements. Beyond the livestreams, there has been a goal to make archived sermon and service vidoes available as soon as possible; most days the audio and video is available before sunday school is dismissed an hour after the church service wraps up.
Beginning with our service for August 20th, 2023, we are going to adjust the release of archived videos. The goal will be to publish them for on-demand consumption on Monday mornings. This will give me more time to edit the content, and to create a regular release schedule that church members can anticipate.
Livestreams will still broadcast during the actual church service (some exclusions may apply), but won't be available to rewatch on-demand until Monday.
Thank you for your time,
Jeremiah Jones
